They say that time flies when you're having fun so if that's really the case, then this week should just skip by at about the speed of light because we are being gifted with one of the greatest weeks of sports this year has to offer. With Thanksgiving upon us, the NFL is blessing us with its yearly offering of games on Turkey day. This year, however, we actually have a pair of good ones as undefeated Green Bay faces upstart Detroit for the first time this season and it's brother vs brother in the late game as the 49ers do battle against the Baltimore Ravens. A great day of eating and football on Thursday is followed up by another one on Friday as the college ranks give us their game of the week, No 1 LSU hosting No 3 Arkansas.
With the Turkey cooking and family gathering, it doesn't get much better than this. Throw in some black Friday shopping (who doesn't like fighting housewives for cheap toys) to go along with this offering of sports and it's a recipe for holiday bliss. Hopefully, everyone is able to enjoy this week with a sigh of contentment and a full belly.
