Thanks to the events of Civil War II, the Guardians of the Galaxy have been trapped on Earth! As Star-Lord himself might say, mistakes were made! And they probably shouldn’t have been so quick to side with Captain Marvel before jumping into a superhero brawl. Just saying…
But what’s done is done, and now the Guardians have basically gone their separate ways as they attempt to find a way off of Earth. Unfortunately, a decent spaceship is pretty hard to find in our corner of the universe. So they may be here a while!
Star-Lord is actually from Earth, although he doesn’t exactly seem thrilled to be back. Peter Quill just wasn’t meant for this mudball, but now he’s stuck down here with the rest of us. And in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Star-Lord # 3, Quill’s new job as a bartender won’t save him when Daredevil comes a callin’! It seems that the Man Without Fear has good reasons to believe that our beloved Guardian is nothing more than a common criminal…
Here’s Marvel’s description for Star-Lord # 3. Chip Zdarsky is the writer of the series, and the art for this issue was drawn by Kris Anka.
GROUNDED! Since landing on Earth, Star-Lord’s gotten in trouble with the LAW, which – Oh no…I said “law.” That means, legally, we have to have Daredevil guest-star.
Star-Lord # 3 will be released on Wednesday, February 15 in comic stores everywhere.
