As you may have heard, BBC America is doubling down on Top Gear! Last weekend, BBC America debuted the first episode of the new incarnation of Top Gear America, with hosts William Fichtner, Antron Brown and Tom “Wookie” Ford.
Ahead of tomorrow night’s second episode of the series, CraveOnline is presenting an exclusive preview clip that finds Brown and Ford attempting to pull off one of the signature car stunts from the ’70s, the “bootlegger turn!”

This week, the boys teach us a few tricks of the movie trade. We learn a bit about the tech behind the scenes and the skills needed to become a successful 70’s stunt driver. Bill gets to find out what it was like to be Steve McQueen driving the iconic Mustang that starred in the greatest car chase of all time in the 1968 film, Bullitt. He also sits behind the wheel of a 55 Caddy and takes us down memory lane. We try to keep up with the Stig in a Lamborghini Huracan, and Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) acquaints himself with what it feels like to be behind the wheel of a car around our new Top Gear track. We go behind the scenes to learn the movie tech and how to be a 70’s stunt car driver. Bill drives the most iconic movie car and a 1955 Caddy. Stig tests the latest Lambo. Ryan Eggold is our guest.
Top Gear America episode 2 will make its premiere on Sunday, August 6 at 8pm on BBC America.
