Kitana has been announced as a playable character in Mortal Kombat X, along with series veteran Kung Lao.

A brand new trailer for the upcoming fighting game shows Kitana in action alongside Kung Lao dealing out some damage, highlighting some of the devastating (and super violent) moves Kung Lao can pull off using his iconic bladed hat and Kitana with her deadly (and rather impractical) fans. It also reveals Kitana’s brutal Fatality move, which shows her carving up her opponent using said fans, slicing them up into Swiss cheese.

The trailer marks the first time gamers have seen Kitana and Kung Lao in action in Mortal Kombat X, along with showing off a bevvy of moves for a whole bunch of other unannounced fighters.

Goro, who was previously announced as a preorder bonus for the game, also makes an appearance at the end of a video. Check it out.

Mortal Kombat X is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on April 14th, 2015.
