Claudia Salinas is a Mexican model and actress. She has been seen in films such as "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" and "Cheap Thrills," as well as the pages of GQ, Maxim, and FHM.
Claudia Salinas was born in Monterrey, Mexico on August 19, 1983. As a child of just 4 years old, her interest in the performing arts began in the form of dancing, as she trained a ballerina for many years, even going on to star in multiple ballet productions in her hometown of Monterrey. Of course, as the daughter of two academic parents, she was eventually persuaded to focus on her schoolwork, as well. This paid off in a big when she graduated from the Universidad Regiomontana at age 19 with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
While her success in her academics was surely nothing to downplay, that doesn't mean that Claudia wouldn't still follow her dreams of being a successful model and actress. After graduating from college, she moved to New York City began studying at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Before long (and with a little help from her background as a former ballerina), she was making her film debut in "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" in 2004, paving the way for subsequent roles in movies such as "Crossing Over," "Saving Private Perez," and "Cheap Thrills."
Let's not sell Claudia's modeling career short, either. In her short yet fruitful career, she has graced the pages of such publications as GQ, Maxim, and FHM, as well as appeared in national TV and print ads for Toyota, Budlight, and Calvin Klein, to name just a select few. To top it all off, she was also named one of FHM’s hottest 100 girls on 2012, as well as appeared on the cover of FHM Indonesia in June 2012.
