Krysten Ritter is an American actress and former model known best for her roles on "Breaking Bad" and "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23." She also sings and plays guitar in the band "Ex Vivian."
Krysten Alyce Ritter was born on December 16, 1981. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania near Shickshinny, where her mother, step-father, and sister still reside. Krysten's modeling career began at age 15 at the Wyoming Valley Mall. A tall, awkward-looking teenager, she was discovered by a modeling agent, and soon doing shoots in New York and Philadelphia in her downtime while finishing high school. By 18, she had moved to New York and has begun an international modeling career with Wilhelmina Models. It was through the modeling agency that she was able to book an audition for a Dr. Pepper commercial and jump-start her acting career.
From here, Krysten's career began to slowly take shape. Her first major role was as an art history student in the Julia Roberts' film "Mona Lisa Smile." From here, she continued to land bit parts on television shows before finally being cast in a recurring role on the series/soon-to-be movie "Veronica Mars" in 2005. Right around the corner in 2006, Krysten hit the jackpot with dual roles on "Gilmore Girls" and "'Til Death." However, once the opportunity to act in features began to present itself, she left the latter series in pursuit.

Sure enough, in no time at all, Krysten was cast in "27 Dresses," "What Happens in Vegas," and "Confessions of a Shopaholic" within a one year span of each other. After this, she landed the role that put her on the map in a huge way. We're talking, of course, about her brief but extremely memorable stint on the hit AMC series "Breaking Bad," who's character of Jane shook the show in a way that has been felt ever since.
Around the same time as "Breaking Bad," Krysten starred on the series "Woke Up Dead," and then "Gravity" in 2010. The same year, she played a memorable role in the film "She's Out of My League." By 2012, she was starring in yet another series, "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23," that really put her on the map.
In her spare time, Krysten is a skilled lyricist and guitar player. She plays and sings in a band called "Ex Vivian." She even wrote, recorded, and performed a song in the 2012 film "BuzzKill," which she also starred in.
