Michelle Borth is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Catherine Rollins on the CBS drama, "Hawaii Five-0."
Michelle Borth was born in New York City on August 19, 1978, the oldest child of three. Growing up, her passion was always gymnastics. In fact, she practiced it for 13 years, and until attending the camp that got her hooked on wanting to be an actress, she probably would have wound up being a gymnast as a profession. Of course, once bitten by the acting bug, there is no going back, so Michelle finished up her schooling at John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen, New York in 1996, then made her way to Pace University of Manhattan where she attained her BFA in Theater and Art History by 2001.
The very next year, Michelle was already landing television and film roles. After a few years of small roles, she was finally cast in her first television lead in 2007's "Tell Me You Love Me," an HBO drama centered on three couples and their shared therapist. Sadly, the show only lasted a season, but that was long enough to gain Michelle the exposure needed to start landing juicier roles, starring in films such as "TiMER" and "A Good Old Fashioned Orgy," as well as series "The Forgotten" and "Combat Hospital." Michelle's biggest role to date has been that of Lt. Catherine Rollins, whom she played on the popular CBS series, "Hawaii Five-0" from season one to season 4.
In her free time residing in Los Angeles, California, Michelle enjoys practicing photography whenever she can. She is also quite passionate about motorcycles and skydiving, although nothing trumps her love of acting. Michelle's passion also lies with being involved in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, whom she has worked with for years.
