New Music | Big Boi and Adam Levine Go Buddy Cop on “Mic Jack”

The Outkast co-founder teams up with the Maroon 5 frontman for new single off his forthcoming solo album.

Outkast fans called, they want their Big Boi back again. The Outkast co-founder continues to make new music with everyone from Phantogram (their side project Big Grams) to Run the Jewels, just not with his former partner-in-rhyme Andre 3000.

Just a day after announcing a new solo album, Boomiverse, Big Boi just dropped his first single off of it featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.


We know what you’re thinking “WTF”, but to be fair “Mic Jack”, which premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show today, isn’t as bad as one of Levine’s V-neck shirts. The odd music couple even shared some movie-inspired posters to celebrate the release.
