New Music Wed: Foo Fighters, Datarock, Bright Eyes & more!

Foo Fighters Studio Tour

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl takes us inside his garage/home studio for a peek at the workings of the Foo’s upcoming new album. We’ve only heard snippets of so far, but it’s enough to get us damned excited. Keep an eye on for details.

Blueprint – "Keep Bouncing"

Check out the new video "Keep Bouncing" off Blueprint’s forthcoming LP Adventures In Counter Culture. Look for that on April 5th via Rhymesayers. The video was shot, edited, & directed by Optical Alchemists.

Bright Eyes –  "Haile Selassie"

It’s as if every emotionally disturbed girlfriend you’ve ever had has suddenly returned, demanding to know why you never kissed her eyelids in the morning or bothered to decode her broken-heart metaphors in the poems she’d write to you in her own blood. Conor Oberst has grown up quite a bit since the early days, which means that there’s going to be some inevitable incongruences in sound as Bright Eyes tries to market itself to a more grown-up audience. Good luck with that – here’s a free download.

Flogging Molly – "Don’t Shut ‘Em Down"

Celtic-punk rockers Flogging Molly are gearing up for the release of a new studio album this May, produced by Ryan Hewitt and recorded in Asheville, NC. The album is said to center around the “economic disaster in the U.S., and the effects it has had on the population around the world.” Before the album’s May release, Flogging Moggy will embark on their annual “Green 17″ tour, spanning February 8th to March 19th.

Ghostface Killah – "2Getha Baby"

It’s already been a month since the release of Apollo Kids, but it’s taken until now to get the video up for the first single off Ghost’s album. Rock it loud, thanks to

Datarock – "Catcher In The Rye"

Electro rockers Datarock have dropped a new one, titled "Catcher In The Rye." The new track is featured on a custom designed USB drive, stored inside a vinyl toy (designed by Brian Flynn at Hybrid Design and the toymakers at SUPER7), packed with over 100 songs, 1500 photos, 20 music videos and a full concert film. Look for that to hit the streets on March 21st.

Panic! At The Disco – "The Ballad of Mona Lisa"

Everybody seems to love these official lyric videos, and Fueled By Ramen provides the goods. Here’s the new video from a band that we thought went away a while ago. Is it good that they’re back? We’ll let you decide.
