Trent Reznor Nominated For An Oscar For 'The Social Network'

After  having won the best original score honor at the Golden Globes ceremony earlier this month, Trent Reznor and longtime co-composer Atticus Ross have been nominated in the best original score category at this year’s Academy Awards.

The pair’s score for Facebook drama The Social Network is up against John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon), Hans Zimmer (Inception), Alexandre Despiat (The King’s Speech) and A.R. Rahman (127 Hours).

David Fincher’s The Social Network is also up for seven other Oscars.
