The Hip-Hop culture is in a state of disrepair. Every week the river of misfortune stories continues to flow, featuring arrests, murders and ego wars that contribute to the damnation of the genre and endlessly distract from the art itself.
Today is no different, as we're sad to report that rising rap group Cali Swag District's M-Bone was shot and killed late last night in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. Details are scant, but according to an Inglewood police spokesperson, the 22 year old (real name: Montae Talbert) sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head while sitting in his vehicle on Le Brea Avenue. M-Bone was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A red Mustang is said to have been involved, according to eyewitnesses who say the Mustang drove off and then returned to the scene, almost as if to make sure the victim was dead.
Fellow group member Smoove expressed his condolences in a recent tweet. "Ma life changed drastically in the. Blink of an eye rip mbone" tweeted Smoove.
