While the rest of us were watching LeBron choke for an entire game, Lil Wayne's highly anticipated MTV Unplugged performance was taking place on MTV. Only the second rapper to headline the MTV special since Jay-Z's appearance in 2001, Weezy dropped some new material and an unexpected cover during his performance, which featured a six-piece band.

During the performance, Wayne drops a cover of Tupac's "Hail Mary," a rarity in the rap game, and it's an impressive spin on the 'Pac classic with a few altered lyrics. He also premiered a brand new Tha Carter IV track "Nightmares of the Bottom." Wayne's introduction: "Now, I had the choice to do any song off the album, and I said I figured I have a pretty intelligent crowd, so I’d rather not do nothing too hype, nothing too crazy. I wanted to do something that ya’ll can listen to and say, that nigga actually said such and such. And I’m leave here and get that album where that nigga said such and such."

Watch for the wardrobe malfunction, if you're into that sort of thing…
