Florence Welch, ethereal lead singer of Florence and the Machine, can cover the hell out of a song. She conquered Beyonce’s “Halo” during a performance on the BBC’s Radio 1 Live Lounge in 2009, and most recently made Icona Pop’s hit “I Love It” her own while taking part in a June Human Rights Campaign Equality Rocks benefit in New York City.

Last weekend, however, Welch took a new turn with a little liquid courage, joining the band Sourberry at the South London Pacific bar for impromptu, loose performances of Daft Punk‘s recent smash hit, “Get Lucky” and The Gossip’s “Standing in the Way of Control”.

Check out the clip below, wherein Florence can be seen throwing back a shot of tequila while rocking the Daft Punk cover to the small audience in attendance.
