Some big names is music will be heading north of the border during their tours, including Aerosmith and AC/DC.
Aerosmith, led by Steven Tyler, will be in Kelowna (July 13th) as well as Victoria (July 16th) during a short leg of performances. Their most recent project, Music From Another Dimension, came out in 2012. Tickets for the two Canadian shows go on sale this Friday at 10am and are just under $200 each.
Meanwhile, rockers AC/DC, who recently did a devilish opening performance at the Grammy Awards, released their North American dates for their “Rock or Bust World Tour” this morning. The dates kick off on August 22nd in Foxborough, MA at Gillette Stadium and run through until September 28th in Los Angeles, CA at Dodger Stadium. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster. Previously announced European dates on the “Rock or Bust World Tour” begin May 5th in Holland and run through late July. Stops in Canada will include Montreal. Quebec City, Ottawa, Moncton, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver. AC/DC released their debut album in Australia in 1975 and it was entitled High Voltage. Since then they’ve put out 16 albums, with the latest being Rock or Bust last year.
