Keanu Reeves may be a big, big star, but he hasn't forgotten his humble beginnings: cramming for history papers in front of the Circle K, chillin' with George Carlin, beating the personification of Death at Battleship… You know. The little stuff. According to an interview with MTV, Reeves is expecting a draft of the screenplay for Bill and Ted 3 – from the original writers (station!) – in the next six weeks. Knowing what we do about screenwriters, that means it could be anywhere from six weeks to a year before we hear anything else, but like the Matrix star says in the clip, 'No pressure guys.'
As for the plot, Reeves says it revolves around Bill and… now stick with me here… Ted, as they struggle to fulfill their destiny and write 'the song that saved the world.' They become obsessed and end up going back in time for some reason (perhaps they befriend a talking pie?). It sounds just as flimsy as the plots to Bill and Ted 1 & 2. We're sure it's going to be just fine.
Crave Online will be back with more Bill & Ted news, if they'd just be awesome enough to put us in the Iron Maiden.
