Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes

If you're one of the fortunate folks to have the option for Netflix streaming video on your TV, TiVo or computer or or XBox or what-have-you, and you likes you some Marvel cartoons, then you're in even more luck than before.  Marvel's announced that a great deal of their animated series are going to be available to put in your instant queue to watch whenever you want.

For example, here's what's available right now as you read this:

The Incredible Hulk (1996-97)
Spider-Man Unlimited (1999-2001)
Iron Man: Extremis – Marvel Knights Animation (2010)
Astonishing X-Men: Gifted  – Marvel Knights Animation (2010)
Spider-Woman: Agent of the S.W.O.R.D. – Marvel Knights Animation (2010)
Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes (2006)
Silver Surfer (1998)
Black Panther – Marvel Knights Animation (2010)
Iron Man: Armored Adventures Season 1 (2009)

That's right, the Silver Surfer had his own show.

This summer, you can also expect them to add the following:

Marvel Action Hour: Iron Man (1994-96)
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! Season 1 (2010)
X-Men Evolution (2000-3)
X-Men (1992-7)
Spider-Man (1994-‘98)
Spider-Man (1967-‘68)
Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (1981)
Spider-Man (1981-‘82)

Hell yes, 60s Spider-Man and 90s X-Men!  Not to mention that we may finally get to see the entire first season of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, which is the best Marvel animation to date.  That's not all, though, because this fall, you'll get the classic 60s cartoons of Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Sub-Mariner, and you'll get to sing along with the famous Sentinel of Liberty theme song:  "When Captain America throws his mighty shield / all those who chose to oppose his shield must yield!"

That's not even the end of it.  Marvel's promising even more in the future, which should hopefully include the 90s Fantastic Four 'toon, and maybe A:EMH predecessor Wolverine and the X-Men, among others, but you've got plenty to go absorb right now.  It's all delicious nerdy goodness!
