Check out the creative teams that will be handling guys like Etrigan, Frankenstein, Swamp Thing and even the new Justice League Dark.

Demon Knights #1

The DC Reboot details are coming fast and furious now, easing people's fears that the relaunch is going to drastically change things.  Given yesterday's news about the Bat-titles, the alterations aren't really rolling back the clock as much as probably allowing them to strip away some complicated things and maybe just write stories how they want, and when fans go 'hey, continuity!' they'll go 'hey, reboot!' and that'll be that.

However, the supernatural realm of the DCU seems to be doing some funky things, like putting John Constantine in an iteration of the Justice League, and having Frankenstein work for the government.  Take a look at what DC's tossing our way.

Hocus pocus alamagocus!

Animal Man #1

Buddy Baker's family life goes ape (haw haw!) when his daughter Maxine starts to manifest some funky powers of her own.  Jeff Lemire, Travel Foreman and Dan Green show us another side of Animal Man.

Demon Knights #1

Not the Tales From The Crypt Presents version of Demon Knight, of course, but it might as well be.  Paul Cornell, Diogenes Neves and Oclair Albert give us a medieval story of Etrigan The Demon fighting to defend civilization and preserve what's left of Camelot from vanishing into history.  Etrigan rhyming in the Middle Ages and stuff.  Word life.

Frankenstein: Agent of Shade #1

Jeff Lemire and Alberto Ponticelli show us Seven Soldiers veteran Frankenstein and his weird network of abnormal creatures working for the government's Super Human Advanced Defense Executive, aka S.H.A.D.E.  Is The Shade going to be involved here as well?  How about Shade the Changing Man showing up here, too?  Nightshade, maybe?  Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?

I, Vampire #1

I vant to suck your blood.  But I von't.  Because I am a gud vampire, bleh bleh bleh.  Ahem.  Andrew Bennett must save the world from the attacks of his fellow vampires despite his love for the Queen of the Damned.  Josh Fialkov and Andrea Sorrentino must have really loved that Aaliyah movie.  Man, Aaliyah.  She was pretty good.  Damn shame we lost her like that, no joke.  How about we just kick it and listen to Are You That Somebody? for a while instead of thinking about how overdone and boring vampires are.

Justice League Dark #1

John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Deadman and Shade the Changing Man are the new occult division of the Justice League.  That's right.  John Constantine is in the bloody JLA.  It's Peter Milligan and Mikel Janin's job to make that make sense.

Resurrection Man #1

DnA, aka Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, the two guys that are everywhere and everyplace writing these days, team up with Fernando Dagnino to bring us the story of a guy who wakes up with new powers every time he dies.

Swamp Thing #1

Scott Snyder and Yannick Paquette take on the challenge of following up on Alan Moore's seminal work on the avatar of nature on the 40th anniversary of the character's creation.  Alec Holland may think he's out, but the monster keeps pulling him back in.

Voodoo #1

Ron Marz and Sam Basri bring us the story of Priscilla Kitaen, who has just learned that she's some kind of monster – or, more specifically, a half-alien hybrid.  Either that, or she just learned Tawny Kitaen is her mother, making the half-alien part David Coverdale from Whitesnake.  That would explain the leathery lizard skin.
