For the last few years, "Breaking Bad" has dominated at the Emmys, with Bryan Cranston winning the best dramatic actor award three times in a row for his riveting performance as former high school teacher turned illegal drug maker, Walter White. Cranston's co-star Aaron Paul also picked up a best supporting actor award last year for his turn as Walt's partner, Jessie Pinkman.
The third season finale of "Breaking Bad" left both Walter and Jessie in precarious positions. Walt was held at gunpoint by the enigmatic Mike (Jonathan Banks), while Jessie was forced to decide whether he should murder the relatively innocent Gale (David Costabile) to save himself and Walt.
With the fourth season set to debut in just a few short weeks, AMC has released a pair of videos to bring fans up to speed. In the first clip, the dangling threads of season 3 are addressed and we revisit Hank Schrader (Dean Norris), a DEA Agent (and Walt's brother-in-law) who was shot and crippled during his quest to bring down Walt and Jessie.
And in the second video below, the cast of "Breaking Bad" talk about the upcoming season and where their characters are headed. Some additional details also about Walter's wife, Skyler (Anna Gunn), his lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and the brutal drug lord, Gus (Giancarlo Esposito).
"Breaking Bad" will return to AMC with its fourth season premiere on Sunday, July 17.
