It seems as though Rockstar is not quite done with their western masterpiece, Red Dead Redemption. In fact, there’s more downloadable content on the way (yee-haw!). The only sad part is we have to wait a few weeks to hear any more concrete details.
Word from on high came yesterday when Rockstar answered a fan inquiry via Twitter about future DLC plans for the title. In short: Rockstar confirmed that more is to come, but didn’t elaborate further. It’s been a long time since we last saw any DLC for Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare being the last piece released in October of 2010.
Whether this downloadable content is a substantial addition like Undead or merely a few new hats, weapons and horses remains to be seen. But if it winds up being another massive add-on like Undead Nightmare, I’ll probably crap my pants. Undead Nightmare, to me, is one of the best game add-ons ever released, adding so much content to the title that it easily justified the asking price. Here’s hoping that’s what’s in store for Red Dead soon. I’ve been looking for a reason to dust this puppy off.
We'll be back with solid info when it becomes available.
