Michael Westen is about to get a new femme fatale.
According to TVLIne, Charisma Carpenter has signed on to appear in the 11th episode of the current season of "Burn Notice." Carpenter will reportedly be playing Nicki, the trophy wife of a bioweapons engineer who is described as "sharp-tongued." Because her spouse is both a wanted man and secretly working with the Russians, Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and Fiona (Gabirelle Anwar) target her as a potential pawn to get at her husband.
Of course on "Burn Notice," things may not necessarily be what they seem. And Carpenter's character could possibly know more than she's letting on…
Carpenter is best known for playing Cordelia Chase on both "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" for the better part of seven seasons. Carpenter has also made memorable guest turns on "Veronica Mars," "Legend of The Seeker," "LAX" and "CSI" in addition to her recurring role on "Greek" (pictured above). Carpenter also co-starred in "The Expendables" opposite Sylvester Stallone and an all-star line up of action heroes.
Former "True Blood" actor James Frain is also set to put the bite on Michael during the fifth season of "Burn Notice." Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Frain will appear in the ninth episode of the season as the head of a powerful pharmaceutical company willing to do anything to protect his secrets. Frain most recently appeared in a villainous role on the short-lived superhero series, "The Cape."
Other upcoming "Burn Notice" guest stars include former "Chicago Code" co-star, Matt Lauria, David Dayan Fisher, J. C. MacKenzie, Gavin Rossdale, WWE Superstar The Big Show and returning guest stars Tim Matheson as "Dead" Larry Sizemore and Todd Stashwick as Carmelo; one of the biggest drug dealers in Miami.
"Burn Notice" airs Thursday nights on USA.
