Okay, so not every movie studio has abandoned Comic Con this year. The fabled Hall H will still be host to a, well, host of movie panels, not the least of which is Steven Spielberg's upcoming motion-capture animated adventure Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which will host a panel on Friday, July 22nd at 11am. Oh, and reserve your spot in line now, because according to Deadline Steven Spielberg himself with be in attendance.

Well, yes, apparently so, according to the information.

Steven Spielberg, who has only ever recorded introductions for Comic Con panels before, will be making his big premiere at the 2011 Comic Con. Why now? Maybe he just wasn't busy this year. Or maybe Tintin isn't the sure thing everyone hopes it is, being adapted from a decidedly un-American comic book series (in that it isn't from America, not that it's anti-USA). Either way, get your questions ready because the director of Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Always is going to be there to answer them.

Oh, and don't be a douche about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He knows what he did. And besides, we want him to come back, remember?

CRAVE Online will be back with more Comic Con 2011 news. Especially next week, since that's Comic Con 2011.
