It’s time to wrangle up four of your most hardcore Metal Gear Solid fans. Hideo Kojima has announced via sweet tweet that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will support 4-player cooperative play over Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network when it releases in November as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Boom goes the dynamite.

This should come as fantastic news for Metal Gear Solid fans, especially those who’ve always wanted to play these games alongside friends, but have never been able to. That all changes with the high definition, PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Peace Walker.

And just to prove he isn’t messing with our heads, Kojima also supplied a picture of him and four of his co-workers sitting down for a game of co-op Peace Walker in that same tweet.

If you’ve been living under a rock for some time now, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be releasing in November for PS3 and Xbox 360 and includes HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Also included are the two NES-era Metal Gear titles.

Basically, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be a waking wet dream for many.
