With a record crowd of 115,000 thousand attending X Games Aspen 2015, it’s safe to say the event was as successful as ever. However, we all have busy lives full of Supernatural re-runs and Walking Dead marathons. Most of us probably didn’t tune in at all.

A 53-Year-Old Took Gold in Mono Skier X

Chris Devlin-Young, who was twice the age of his youngest competitor, owned the field down the X Course to capture gold.

… for a woman in X Games snowboard slopestyle history, at least.

A 14-Year-Old Won Gold on SuperPipe

Chloe Kim defeated legend Kelly Clark to win the snowboard superpipe crown. She’s the youngest gold medal winner ever at winter X Games.
